The mountains melt beneath His feet,
The proud are humbled in retreat.
He dwells where Zion's trumpets sound,
His name in Judah is renowned.
No sword of man can forge His will,
He speaks, and all the earth grows still.

He shattered bows, He snapped the spear,
And made the battle lines disappear.
The brave were stunned, their hands grew weak,
As heaven’s voice began to speak.
No mortal strength could match His hand,
Before His throne, no foe can stand.

His tent is in Salem,
His dwelling place in Zion.”
You, O Lord, are clothed in awe,
The earth falls silent at Your law.
From Zion’s hill, Your justice came,
The lowly lifted in Your name.
Let all make vows and pay them true,
Bring gifts to Him whose words are due.
He breaks the spirit of the kings,
And hushes all the boasting things.
He dwells in fire, He rules in peace—
And calls the warring hearts to cease.

6The stout-hearted were despoiled; they were in a stupor; the bravest of men could not lift a hand.
7At Your blast, O God of Jacob, horse and chariot lay stunned.
8O You! You are awesome! Who can withstand You when You are enraged?
9In heaven You pronounced sentence; the earth was numbed with fright
10as God rose to execute judgment, to deliver all the lowly of the earth. Selah.
11The fiercest of men shall acknowledge You, when You gird on the last bit of fury.
12Make vows and pay them to the LORD your God; all who are around Him shall bring tribute to the Awesome One.
13He curbs the spirit of princes, inspires awe in the kings of the earth.
