Shekinah (Veil Remix)

From Shekinah · 2026 · 4:55·Track 2 of 4
Lyrics

You called out from the fire
(burning)
Made Your presence known
A glimpse of your desire
(consuming)
God in search of man

Your presence is in exile
Hidden by our modern ways
Pillar of fire, column of smoke
May your Spirit hover once again

Descend from the sky
Leave the comfort of your throne
Cloud of Shekinah
Make Your glory known

Haunted by Your Holiness
We can only respond with awe
(Here I am)
Overwhelmed by Your mystery
We accept the weight of your call (law)

Your presence is in exile
Hidden by our modern ways
Pillar of fire, column of smoke
May your Spirit hover once again

Descend from the sky
Leave the comfort of Your throne
Cloud of Shekinah
Make Your glory known

We stand beneath Your mountain
With Your fire on our lips

Kadosh
Kadosh
Kadosh
Adonai Tzeva'ot
Me'lo khol ha'aretz kavodo

Holy
(Holy)
Holy
(Holy)
Is the Lord God Almighty
The whole earth is full of Your glory
The whole earth is full of Your glory
The whole earth is full of Your glory

Your presence dwells among us
Returned to Your rightful place
Pillar of fire, column of smoke
Your Spirit hovers once again

Descended from the sky
Left the comfort of Your throne
Cloud of Shekinah
You made Your glory known
You made Your glory known
You made Your glory known

May Your Spirit rest on us
As we embrace the covenant
Of Your Kingdom

The Source

When the LORD saw that he had turned aside to look, God called to him out of the bush: “Moses! Moses!” He answered, “Here I am.”

Exodus 3:4 · NJPS
Read Exodus 3:1-6

1Now Moses, tending the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian, drove the flock into the wilderness, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

2An angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire out of a bush. He gazed, and there was a bush all aflame, yet the bush was not consumed.

3Moses said, “I must turn aside to look at this marvelous sight; why doesn’t the bush burn up?”

4When the LORD saw that he had turned aside to look, God called to him out of the bush: “Moses! Moses!” He answered, “Here I am.”

5And He said, “Do not come closer. Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you stand is holy ground.

6I am,” He said, “the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.
