Those who trust in Adonai
Stand firm through every age
Though the ground beneath may tremble
Their feet will not give way
We lift our eyes up to the skies
Where help has always come
The hills are standing all around
The work Adonai has done
Like Mount Zion, we will stand
We will not be moved
Mountains round Jerusalem
Adonai surrounds His people
The heavy hand will not remain
Upon the righteous land
Lest weary hearts should lose their way
And reach with crooked hands
The rule of those who walk in wrong
Will fade and pass away
Adonai keeps watch, the night is long
But morning breaks the day
Like Mount Zion, we will stand
We will not be moved
Mountains round Jerusalem
Adonai surrounds His people
Do good, O Adonai, to hearts made true
To those who walk upright
But crooked paths will fade away
As You restore Your light
Peace be upon Israel
Peace upon this land
Like Mount Zion, we will stand
We will not be moved
Mountains round Jerusalem
Adonai surrounds His people
Surrounds His people
“A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion that cannot be moved, enduring forever. Jerusalem, hills enfold it, and the LORD enfolds His people now and forever.”

1A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion that cannot be moved, enduring forever.
2Jerusalem, hills enfold it, and the LORD enfolds His people now and forever.
3The scepter of the wicked shall never rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, that the righteous not set their hand to wrongdoing.
4Do good, O LORD, to the good, to the upright in heart.
5But those who in their crookedness act corruptly, let the LORD make them go the way of evildoers. May it be well with Israel!
